Dear Parent,

Thank you for taking time to learn about our school and the program. If you’re reading this, many aspects of our program resonate with you, but you may still be unsure if this program suits your child. Allow me to help you by asking these following questions:

  • Do you want your child to be stuck in a job they hate, but keep showing up just to pay the bills, and feel pessimistic about their reality and their worth?
  • Do you want your child to make ‘safe’ choices, based on what is considered to be a reliable career, and probably never feel the passion for their craft, rather than choosing something that makes them tick and go an extra mile?

The fact is: if a person isn’t happy with what they do at work, in a best case scenario they’ll be just an average performer and will never experience great career heights or a feeling of satisfaction and fulfilment. I have seen it too many times working with thousands of people across dozens of companies (even the most prestigious ones). The sad reality is that most people don’t even come close to fully realising their potential.

Is that the future you wish for your child?

If you’re saying “NO”, then teaching your children how to start and run a business is the path to a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

When creating their own businesses, children are able to explore different industries and jobs even before they finish school. This allows them to form a realistic understanding of the working world. At the same time our students discover what makes them happy, their strengths and passions, and they learn how to make living out of it.

If we want our kids to achieve anything of significance, and for them to know how to find the place of peace and fulfilment, we need to help them plan their journey and start preparing for it. Only in rare cases it can happen by itself, mostly by accident.

At the same time, I don’t believe the mainstream education help children prepare for real life, and it’s unfair on them to be limited to their parents’ experience. I’ve launched the school because I want as many children as possible to be able to create a happy future for themselves.

I’m motivated and inspired by people who go through tough times and come out with flying colours and optimism. It reminds me that it’s all about our mindset, and that a person’s perspective determines what they see. If we focus on positives, that’s what we achieve.

WHY DID YOU JOIN MINIBOSS?
Over the past 25 years, I have worked in sales, progressed to a General Manager, and started small businesses (my 1st was when I was 14yrs old). One of my businesses was in training and I've realised that teaching is my true calling. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education and I'm also an Educator at outside school hours care looking after primary aged students. I want to help young students reach for their dreams and achieve their full potential. MINIBOSS allows me to blend my passion for teaching and business.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
I'm motivated by wanting to be a positive role model in the lives of my students and helping them to achieve their full potential. My goal is to have students remember me as their "best teacher ever!"
If you could go back in time and meet yourself as a child, what would you tell yourself?
If I could go back in time and meet myself as a child, I would tell myself to invest in long term growth assets from a young age. I wish I'd started making additional contributions to superannuation when I was younger, rather than buying expensive cars.
What are your unique qualities that make you a great MINIBOSS teacher?
I'm a perfectionist by nature who strives to excel in each part of my life. With a calm, quietly confident personality, I have the knowledge and experience to teach students the MINIBOSS program. I'll even share with you all the mistakes I made in starting my first business.

I have a passion for business. My family has always run their own businesses and in some form, I have always been a part of it. I also have a passion for teaching. MINIBOSS allows me to not only nurture the future generations but it also allows me to pass on the knowledge I have gained over the years in a unique and exciting way. MINIBOSS supports one of my main aims as an educator and that is to allow the students to be active participants in their learning.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
My family is my biggest motivation. They invest in my strengths and make me stronger. My daughter, especially, is the main reason for why I continue to climb hard despite how steep the mountain is. I do better in life for her. She gives me determination to give my students a beneficial and worthwhile experience.

I would tell myself that there is a life beyond school. There is a world of opportunities awaiting you out of the classroom. More importantly, if at first you don’t succeed, try again and keep trying. You only fail when you give up.

I think the philosophy and value behind MINIBOSS is something you don't find very often in a traditional school setting as there seems to be 'no time' left for children to explore and follow their passions. I am excited to combine my passion for teaching and business to help students follow their dreams, build confidence and learn lifelong skills along the way. This is something I wish was available to me when I was in school!

I am happiest when I am helping others recognise their own potential and mastering new skills. There is something really special about being a part of children's learning journey and seeing their growth.
If you could go back in time and meet yourself as a child, what would you tell yourself?
There is more than one way to get where you are going and every "failure" is actually just an opportunity to grow. So if your first attempt or way doesn't work, then learn from it and try another way!

The MINIBOSS Business School Founders

The MINIBOSS Business School Founders, Olga and Andrew Azarov, have a scientific and practical experience in business and economics. Olga has obtained her PhD in Economics in the late 1990s, and has transformed the way economics and business it taught in state schools in Ukraine, affecting close to 1,000,000 students at the time, and many millions after.

Inspired by the transformation in the students, Olga and Andrew decided to make even a bigger impact on the lives of our new generation, and established the MINIBOSS Business School in 2000.

Apart from the school, Olga has founded and managed over 40 companies, and managed close to 2,000 employees. In 2015 Fortune’s Most Powerful Women International program supported by the US government recognised Olga as one of the most influential women. Andrew is a successful investor, banker, politician and philanthropist. He heads the MiniBoss and BigBoss Global Business Council, as well as a number of commercial organisation, and is a President of a number of social organisations. Olga and Andrew are founders of the International Business Academy (IBA), and have founded or supported many international business organisations.

The school is not just a business to Olga and Andrew, but an integral part of their life and philosophy. Three of their children have graduated the school since, while the youngest is continuing to learn and create new startups with her friends.

Olga continues to teach students in one of her schools believing in the importance of keeping her mastery up-to-date and first-hand understanding of needs of her clients. She also interviews every person who joins the global MINIBOSS family to make sure they share the values and wholeheartedly believe in MINIBOSS’s purpose - changing the world for the better.
