The MINIBOSS program was designed by educational research scientists and business practitioners, who have continuously developed and enhanced it over the last 20 years. The program is based on interactive methods of education and a comprehensive approach to learning. Many techniques and concepts are unique to MINIBOSS and have been protected by IP rights, which are registered with the WIPO (Switzerland) and the Library of Congress (USA). The program represents millions of hours of effort and incorporates the most effective educational techniques.

Learn by doing, as a team

MINIBOSS Methodology recognises the unique value of learning important life skills by practicing them in various circumstances. This is the reason why our educational method includes 12 types of practice: business games, team building, masterclasses, business incubator, mentoring, startup forum, national startup championship, World Cup startup championship, international business camps, city camps, business tours and business festivals. All practical experiences are designed for students to realise, that they are able to truly succeed only when they work together as a team. MINIBOSS creates situations, wherein students begin functioning at a new level because of the collaboration and support they provide for each other. Such effective collaboration teaches students the foundations of synergy and long-term success.

Start early

The research on child development by Harvard University has proven that the brain’s capacity for change decreases with age.

This early plasticity means it’s easier and more effective to influence a child’s developing brain architecture, than to ‘rewire’ parts of its circuitry in the adult years. This is why we recommend for children from as early as 6 years of age, start learning about the real world, including business. The following scientific evidence supports our position:

  • 95% of the brain develops by the age of 6 and it’s mostly formed by the age of 15-18, after which cognitive function drops substantially;
  • Brain connections (synapses) start to decline from the age of 3 until the age of 18;
  • 98% of 5 year-olds are at the "genius" level in divergent thinking (capacity for creativity), and this capacity drops by half every 5 years;
  • By the age of 6-7 most childrencan understand things symbolically and they are able to understand ideas of the past and future, which is the best age to start complex learning.

Teams of students present their ideas at the Startup Forum, as well as the National and World Cup Championships. All student project activities (from the generation of an idea to a functioning revenue-making business) are supervised and supported by MINIBOSS trainers. Also, when necessary, professional consultants are invited to assist with the implementation of ideas and the creation of new business ventures. An independent panel of entrepreneurs and investors assess each idea (at the Startup Forum) and functioning business (at the National and World Cup Championships) and invest in those which are the most needed by society.
